Faxing from ACT!

We are often asked about faxing from ACT!

One of the key requests is getting the faxing program to use ACT! as the address book. Otherwise you maintain another address book in the fax application, and maintaining multiple address books is a real pain.

In earlier versions of ACT! you were able to fax using the great application, WinFax Pro. It was designed to link with ACT! and have a single address book.

Unfortunately, WinFax no longer supports the newer versions of ACT! and I am not sure if it is still sold.

So with the SQL version of ACT! (Version 7 onwards) we had to find another solution. After much research and testing, we decided on GFI Faxmaker.
